Tip 2 – Salesforce in India
Last week Salesforce announced it plans to train 250,000 students in India, in order to fulfil the expected extra 550,000 new Salesforce related roles in the coming years. It will be interesting to see how this plays out, and what similar initiatives may happen elsewhere!
Tip 3 – Dreamforce Las Vegas??
After Apple, Google, and Facebook all moved their conferences away from San Francisco, now Oracle have done the same. Sources say “the 60,000 person event just got too big”. So where does that leave the 170,000 strong Dreamforce in the future?
Personally I don’t think it will ever move. But considering the ecosystem is growing and growing, and San Francisco has been creaking under the pressure of the current numbers for years now, the questions will arise every year.
