Nonprofit Summit 2022 – Phil’s Salesforce Tip of the Week #476

Nonprofit Summit 2022 – Phil’s Salesforce Tip of the Week #476

Welcome to my Salesforce Tip of the Week #476

Tip 1 – Chrome Extension

SOQL

Thanks to our COO Paul Battisson for sharing this one this week…

I’m one of those people who loves SOQL and using it to grab the data I want to look at. Whether its info from an aggregate query to let me see the state of the database, or extracting a series of records that might need updating, SOQL for me is the most flexible tool.

The Developer Console has always been  a quick and handy way to get a look at the data, and with this extension you can also extract the results on screen into a handy CSV for use.

Tip 2 – Blog Quest

Blog Quest

No, it is not a bad Tolkien remake… ‘Explore practical how-to guidance, authentic peer perspectives, and inspiring Trailblazer stories’. Complete this quest in November to earn an exclusive community badge and enter for a chance to win a Trailblazer Hoodie (1 of 100). Sounds like an easy quest Frodo!

Tip 3 – Nonprofit Summit 2022

Nonprofit Summit

Save the date for Nonprofit Summit 2022. This virtual event on May 17th. If you have a story to share with the nonprofit community the call for proposals is now open.
