Phil’s World Tour of World Tours
Apart from Dreamforce, the Salesforce World Tour events are the biggest events in the Salesforce calendar. This year, as many of you know, I decided to do my own little tour around some of these Salesforce events. Firstly to Amsterdam, then to London, New York, and Paris.
Salesforce are always looking for volunteers at these events, so it is a great way to get involved, meet new people, and put yourself in front of an audience. So maybe you might want to practice your public speaking, show off your knowledge in front of your peers, or perhaps wave a big flag to say ‘help mentor me to be a Salesforce MVP’. I volunteered by speaking at these events on ‘My Favourite Free Apps on Appexchange’, but also volunteering at the Admin booths (AKA ‘Ask the Expert’ booths) and the Developer Library.
As well as gaining some good speaking practice, I also met lots of new people, fellow User Group leaders, end users who needed some help, fellow bloggers, and some of the readers of this blog (thanks for the feedback as always!). It was great to hear different Keynotes from Marc Benioff, Parker Harris, and Keith Block (one of the them in French!). Here are some of my favourite pics:
So without giving away my whole presentation…here are the Top 3 Free Appexchange Apps that most people seemed to enjoy:
